Been on a movie review kick of late, it is summer after all. But the movies have not been all that, and I figured I’d take a break before attempting to tackle all that’s wrong with Transformers 3 as I’ve never written a novel nor taken a single course in psychobabbology.

Something different on the menu

I thought about ranting over the Casey Anthony case, not so much the outcries over the verdict as I didn’t follow the trial so closely as to see what was and what wasn’t proven. No I just want to bitch about the media hype, the crass and baseness of our culture that turns such tragic events into ‘infotainment’ for ratings and shock value as something like this case gets covered by the likes of TMZ.  Think I will plan to avoid all Nancy Grace exposure as I’m sure I’m well past my “icky icky poo” limit.

I could also rant about crappy bullshit I see online everyday, or the OFF THE CHAIN fucking stupidity I see at one of my jobs but then… Can’t. We. All. Just let me win the lottery, spend a few years globetrotting and drinking, please?

There’s always blogging about blogginess and I can’t even keep a straight face as I type that. Plus, I fanwank that shit for one of ‘real’ jobs.

What to blog? “Try anything, infinite options – you hack,” says my inner voice.

True that. I just don’t have the time or inclination to look, plus you know I’m a sucky, amateur bloggeur for fuck’s sake.

Life: Got to have one first. Work, work, little pay, work, work, hope it leads to paying client, work, sleep, dinner, movie. Yeah, I’d have everyone in narcoleptic comas by the end of a post.

Love: Oh please. Relationships, sex, love.. see above. I ain’t qualified at the moment, not that that’s stopped anyone on the Internets before.

Complicated workings of a combustion engine: untapped market, maybe some day. Goes something like: add fuel, light it on fire, watch things go.

Television: Ah yes, the summer season is here along with a shirtless Matt Bomer and a bearded Noah Wyle saved in the DVR. Is Falling Skies worth a look, anyone? And of course, True Blood is rocking the crazy as always.

And as I type that Zemanta has tagged this picture of Bomer from his Traveler days, pissing me off that show got cancelled. Grr.
